App: Iridai (iOS) Last revision: 11 May 2026 Document version: 1.0

Pursuant to the Italian Data Protection Authority's "Cookie Guidelines" of 10 June 2021, EU Regulation 2016/679 (GDPR), Directive 2002/58/EC (ePrivacy), the UK Privacy and Electronic Communications Regulations (PECR) and the equivalent guidance issued by the Information Commissioner's Office (ICO).

1. What are cookies

Cookies are small text files that websites save on the user's device during browsing in order to remember session information, preferences, authentication, or to track activity.

2. Iridai does not use HTTP cookies

The Iridai application is a native iOS app distributed through the Apple App Store / TestFlight. It does not embed a web browser, neither in its main screens nor in WebView mode. Consequently it does not use HTTP cookies in the traditional sense.

3. Equivalent technologies used

The App uses native iOS technologies exclusively for data persistence, all strictly local to the User's device:

Technology Purpose Persistence
UserDefaults User preferences (active AI model, activation mode, wake phrase, current context, onboarding flag) App sandbox
iOS Keychain Sensitive credentials (API keys for Anthropic, OpenAI, Gemini, ElevenLabs, Perplexity, Twilio, n8n, RAVENG Secret) encrypted by Secure Enclave App sandbox
FileManager (Documents folder) Inspections (JSON), attached photos (JPEG), reports (PDF / Markdown), custom prompts, personas App sandbox
AVAudioSession + MPRemoteCommandCenter Smart-glasses temple-tap intercept (alternative to standard media control) Current session only
HuggingFace cache (local MLX models) AI model weights downloaded for offline use on explicit user request App sandbox (~1.5–7 GB)
OSLog ring buffer (200 entries) Debugging logs Session + iOS standard crash report

None of these technologies constitute cookies within the meaning of the law, nor are they transmitted to RAVENG servers or any other third party.

4. Third-party cookies

The App communicates exclusively via REST/HTTPS APIs with the AI providers selected by the User and with any optional integrations enabled. Such communications:

  • Do not use a web browser and therefore do not generate cookies on the User's device;
  • Are signed with the User's API key;
  • Are governed by the privacy policy of the provider (Anthropic, OpenAI, Google, Twilio, n8n) — see Privacy Policy §2.2 for links.

5. Advertising identifiers

Iridai:

  • Does not use Apple's IDFA (Identifier for Advertisers);
  • Does not request the App Tracking Transparency permission (NSUserTrackingUsageDescription);
  • Does not track User activity across other apps or websites;
  • Does not belong to advertising networks.

6. Analytics tools

Iridai does not integrate:

  • Google Analytics, Firebase Analytics, Google Tag Manager;
  • AppsFlyer, Mixpanel, Amplitude, Adjust, Branch;
  • Facebook SDK / Meta Pixel;
  • Any kind of advertising tracker.

Diagnostic logs are strictly local (OSLog) and visible only to the User via the in-app Debug panel.

7. Optional Apple telemetry

Apple autonomously collects aggregate metrics on App use (crash reports, performance, energy) via the MetricKit framework if the User has enabled "Share with App Developers" under iOS Settings → Privacy → Analytics & Improvements. Such data is anonymised by Apple and not traceable to individual Users.

The User may disable this sharing at any time from the iOS system settings.

8. Updates

This Cookie Policy will be updated if new tracking technologies are introduced. Changes will be communicated in-app in Settings → About → Legal Documents.

9. Contact
